Front Desk Manager

This individual supervises the daily operations of the Front Desk Staff to maximize revenues and profits. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Hotel Front Office, New York experience is preferred. The individual will respond to guest's special requests, needs, problems, issues and concerns and accommodate groups to ensure optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business. The candidate must have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. A high-energy individual, the Front Desk Manager must be able to motivate and hold associates accountable. 2 Year degree or higher preferred but not required. Union experience is preferred.


Executive Chef

This position requires at least 2 years experience in a New York City Union Hotel.  The ideal candidate must be able to lead a union staff and manage 3 Food & Beverage outlets along with 30,000 square feet of banquet space. The individual will be a hands-on Chef with proven leadership skills. Full understanding of budgeting, payroll and union rules are needed.   A culinary degree is required.


Executive Sous Chef

This position requires at least 2 years of experience in a New York City Union Hotel as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef. The ideal candidate must be able to coordinate, plan and supervise the production, plating and presentation of food in ala carte and banquet settings. The individual will be a hands-on Chef with proven leadership skills, New York City Health Department Certification and a full understanding of food safety procedures.  A Culinary degree is required.


Food & Beverage Operations Manager

The position is responsible for the short-term planning and managing the operations of the Restaurant(s), Room Service, Lounge(s) and Banquets. Recommends promotional ideas and procedural changes. Prepares forecast, implements, monitors and controls the budgets for the various outlets. Conducts training within the Food and Beverage divisions to achieve customer (guest, employees, corporate and owners) satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
  • At least two years of Food and Beverage Management Including Union Management experience preferred.

Housekeeping Manager

This position requires 2 years of hotel experience in a similar position in a 500+ room hotel; 2-year hospitality degree required. The candidate will have union experience, be well organized, detail oriented, and personable, and will supervise and inspect the daily cleaning of the guest rooms, turn down service, and public areas and back of the house. Ensure compliance with accident / loss prevention programs to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Monitors inventories and expenses. Respond, schedule, train, motivate, and coach and counsel employees and housekeeping supervisors while providing a safe work environment.


Engineering Administrative Assistant

This position reports to the Engineering Director. The ideal applicant must have 2 years of experience in an Engineering Department with a minimum of an associate's degree, preferably in hospitality, or Business. The individual must have worked in a position where the applicant prepared Engineering schedules, payroll, inventory, purchase orders, preventative maintenance record keeping, this applicant must have experience with accounting procedures, P&L statements. This position must be able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends). Candidate maintains and records business transactions. Must have knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to determine course of action based on these guidelines. Must be proficient in MS Office applications, Guest ware, Opera, Timesaver, and Market basket or equivalents software programs
